UPS Installation and Replacement for Datacentres and Industrial

An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), is an electrical apparatus that provides emergency power to a load when the input power source, typically mains power to your building, or part of, fails.

A UPS differs from an Emergency Power System or standby generator in that it will provide near-instantaneous protection from input power interruptions, by supplying energy stored in batteries. The on-battery runtime of most uninterruptible power sources is relatively short (only a few minutes) but sufficient to provide smooth, uninterruptible power whilst a standby power source, such as a generator, starts or gives crucial time to enable controlled shut down of any critical protected equipment.

As well as providing backup power, a UPS can help balance loads, improve efficiency and correct voltage spikes or sustained over voltage.
